ULTRASOUND WHOLE ABDOMEN

LIVER: Normal in size, (mm) and echotexture. No obvious I.H.B.D or Focal lesions are seen. Hepatic veins and IVC are normal.

It is normal in size / enlarged in size measuring cm in size with increased echogenicity suggestive of fatty infiltration.

GALL BLADDER: Well distended with thin walls. No pericholecystic fluid. No obvious intra luminal calculi.

CBD & PORTAL VEIN: Normal in diameter

PANCREAS: Normal in size, shape and echotexture. PD not dilated.

SPLEEN: Normal in size(mm) and echotexture.

KIDNEYS: Right kidney –mm. Left kidney –mm.

Both kidneys are normal in size, shape and echotexture. No evidence of calculi / hydronephrosis.

URINARY BLADDER: Well distended with normal wall caliber. No intraluminal calculi or mass lesion seen. Poorly/partially distended.

PRE VOID: POST VOID:

PROSTATE: Normal in size and echotexture.

Normal in size / Mildly / significantly enlarged in size measuring mm with an estimated volume of cc.

UTERUS – Normal in size and echotexture. Endometrial thickness measures mm.

Post menopausal in appearance.

Bilateral adnexae are clear.

OVARIES: Right ovary – mm, Left ovary – mm.

Right ovary measures in size with an estimated volume of cc.

Left ovary measures in size with an estimated volume of cc.

Both ovaries are normal in size and echotexture.

OTHERS: No evidence of any free fluid in the peritoneal cavity. Retroperitoneum is obscured by bowel shadows.Para aortic and para-Iliac regions are normal. No obvious lymphadenopathy is noted in the current study.

IMPRESSION: No obvious abnormality detected in the current study.
